Meredith Adelaide ¬

I travelled up to Portland to shoot a wedding with a long time internet photographer friend, Jon Duenas (who has a little cameo in this post). While there I had the utmost privilege of shooting with Meredith Adelaide  who is a long time favorite talent of mine. I was a bit beside myself to be able to work with her. She’s got a timeless quality about her.  She’s a model, actress, singer and songwriter that carries an inquisitive elegance. We met up at Jon’s studio space and took some photos. I experimented with my cameras and film and she also explored a bit with her modeling. It was a fun time and we came away with some shots I think we both like. There were a few different parts to it. My take away from my time with Meredith is how important it is to explore one’s self, how we think, how others may perceive us, ask ourselves honest questions about who we are. Explorations are not sprints, they take time, intention and most of all courage. —— Mamiya RZ67proii Kodak Portra160, Portra400, TriX Polaroid 195 w/Polaroid ID-UV Contax G2 Kodak Portra160 Canon 5dMkiii processed with VSCO 04 ——
